Now I heard the videos about the cajun music.
In the first one, it is clear the foreigner language, like a french. In the second one, it is different the language. The rhythm is similar, only more quickly in the last one. The instruments can saw it in the first video are cord instruments, but in the last one, I guess are electronic and acustic instruments like a piano. Maybe, in the brothers video is more sad and the couple dancing video is more happy.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these songs are in French! The Balfa Brothers song is very old, and is from a time when they spoke only French (and no English). They spoke a type of French that was very hard for other people who spoke French to understand. Now, they speak in a style of French that is much easier easier to understand!
