Welcome!

Welcome to our class blog! I am very excited to work with you this semester. We will be exploring American culture and history through film in this class. Here are a few of the movies that we will be watching this semester: -Smoke Signals -The Order of Myths -A League of Their Own -Amistad -My Big Fat Greek Wedding -Waiting for Superman We will be exploring such topics as race, religion, ethnic identity, gender, and class. I am very excited to hear what you have to say about these topics! Your homework for this weekend is the following: -If you don't already have one, sign up for a Gmail address. Once you have your Gmail address, send it to indovina@loyno.edu . -Think about one of your favorite movies. Find and read a copy of the review IN ENGLISH. Print the review out to bring it to class for Monday.

  2. Hello dear Christina and Classmates. I want to share with all some interesting aspects about Granada, the city where I am from. Granada is the city most visited by tourists in Nicaragua. Its Elevation above sea level is 62 meters = 203 ft.
